③ MEMBERSHIP AT THE GROVE

In learning how to be members of the Body of Christ, we discover that being in community together is vital to our growth. In our Life At The Grove class, we discuss how and why we interact and trust in each other as we pursue Christ together. Membership is our yearly commitment to each other to live life in community with one another, be disciples, and make disciples.

⑤ INTERESTED IN BAPTISM?

By being baptized in water, a Christ-follower publicly identifies with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. It is a special moment for the entire church to celebrate one's repentance and resurrection of life, as well as their desire to enter into biblical community with other believers. Baptism is a concrete way for Christ-followers to demonstrate their obedience to Jesus’ command (Matthew 28:19) and profess faith in Him publicly. We believe that baptism is not essential for salvation, but an important first step of obedience (Acts 2:38).
